415 Monroe Street was the apartment block Frank Sinatra grew up in.
The building was standard for the time. It was a four floored block with a cellar, built with a wooden frame. There were eight apartments, with a toilet a floor, meaning that the two apartments had to share. Each apartment had three rooms and a kitchen. The apartments had no hot water.[1]
